  If you want to turn AutoSave off, by default, for all files. AutoSave is a new feature available in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for Microsoft subscribers that saves your file automatically, every few seconds. Note: If you're toggling AutoSave every time you open a document, even when it's stored online, you can change the default. Go to File > Options > Save.
